Engraving by Hand
Hand-engraving is a centuries-old practice. Our fine jewelry is hand-engraved by a master engraver here in Atlanta. Each letter is cut with a graver, so it has depth and catches light the way machine lettering can't.
For any flat or outer surface, we can engrave in upper or lowercase serif or script. For ring interiors, we will engrave in a scripted italic.

Most inscriptions are one of three things: a date (10.14.2023), initials (M.F. + J.), or a few words. Coordinates, a street name, or a child's birth time work beautifully too. Fewer characters read better, especially inside a ring; if yours runs long, we'll suggest a shorter version before anything is engraved.
